My professional background consists of working with the public as a supervisor responsible for the County’s Birth and Death Certificates and Marriage Licenses. I managed the recordation of all documents submitted by the public for recordation, Examination, Certification, Indexing, Scanning and creating a permanent record for all instruments submitted to the Assessor, County Clerk and Recorder’s office. I have since been working within the nonprofit sector as an Intake Interviewer and Records / Documentation Specialist and when needed, as a case manager. I conducted background and Megan’s Law checks and drug tested all individuals as part of the intake process and worked directly with the homeless population and with individuals that have a mental or physical disability and are learning to live life in their community. I am a licensed paralegal, a certified Peer Support Specialist and have been certified as a DDMAT and HTS/Direct support Professional. I would like to pursue the records management side of my career if the opportunity becomes available. I have a hand’s on very thorough working knowledge of all types of documents from the medical, legal and real estate industries and documents that were made available to the public while under my direction had over a 99% accuracy rate which was the most accurate rate the departmemt had ever attained.
