I have worked with several organizations, providing service to diverse communities throughout the world. I am the founder and executive director for Good Journey.Good Journey, based and operating in St. Louis, Missouri, is an organization with international reach, connecting youth with artists, entrepreneurs, and leaders, while supporting youth leadership and community building throughout the world. My skills, experience, and connections to communities are the driving force behind what is, and can be accomplished through Good Journey.I am recognized as an innovator and highly skilled problem solver, exercising good and transparent decision making and displaying consistent leadership.I facilitated effective communication and organizational culture workshops for new charter school teachers; and conflict resolution workshops for the staff of a shelter for young women and their children. I facilitated regular Peer Coaching calls that enhanced participants work skills and the inclusion of a collaborative change model in their work.I engaged and presented information on Southern African countries to middle and high school students in two school districts. I presented grant proposal programmatic outcomes and associated budget to city officials as justification to receive program funding.I volunteered with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to coordinate and prepare youth performers to participate in an annual Kwanzaa celebration in partnership with the Saint Louis Art Museum; and served as a storyteller for the event. I developed curriculum for the Delta Academy program and facilitated cultural based training focused on sisterhood, service and scholarship for elementary and middle school girls.I facilitated college access and leadership development sessions with students of several school districts, and trained more than 100 educators to implement the college access program. I facilitated life skills training for more than 70 elementary, middle and high school youth.
