Dipankar has more than 23 years of research, M&E and advisory experience and has led several assignments across diverse sectors including: Maternal and Newborn Health, Family Planning and Nutrition; Tuberculosis and other infectious diseases; HIV/AIDS and Sexual Health; Poverty and Livelihood; Water and Sanitation; Gender and Empowerment. He has provided technical assistance to different flagship programs of Government of India, viz. NHM (both NRHM & NUHM), NTEP, NACP, NVBDCP, etc. He has been involved with different donor funded projects of multi/bilateral agencies such as World Bank, USAID, DFID; Gates’, Packard and MacArthur Foundations and several international and national level NGOs. His core areas of expertise include monitoring and tracking; process and impact evaluations; project planning, reviews, and audits; and pro bono technical support activities particularly on a broad spectrum of health projects. He brings on board hands-on expertise in a logical framework approach, quasi-experimental and mix-methods design. He has also been associated with policy reviews, knowledge management and documentation of best practices. Dipankar exhibits unmatched skills in social research with proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative techniques and provides an extra edge to the projects he is involved with.
