Iot Systems Engineer
Worked as an IoT engineer where I was responsible for integrating IoT functionalities into pre-existing systems. This included adding new hardware modules and updating legacy codes with libraries and frameworks that facilitate IoT functions. Worked on different communication protocol models like request-response, pub-sub, push-pull and dedicated connection. Was responsible for installing and maintaining python libraries that facilitates IoT functions. Libraries like PIKA for RabbitMQ and PAHO MQTT.Worked with message broker technologies like MQTT and AMQP to route messages to and from devices. Implemented message routing pathways to distribute message alerts & signals using direct, fanout and topic exchange exchange in RabbitMQ. Worked on real time data exchange between devices within a local network using web sockets. Used python framework to deploy a web-socket client server network. Used multi-threading in python to handle multiple clients at the server end. Technologies that I worked on :Communication protocols like HTTPS, Web-sockets, AMQP, MQTT, CoApHardware modules like ESP32, Raspberry-pi4, Raspberry-pi ZeroDigital sensors and actuators interfaced with board level communication protocols like I2C, SPI, One-Wire, UART etcInstalling features that facilitate IoT functionalities in backend servers.
