I worked alongside 4 other college-aged mentors in teaching and guiding first-generation middle school students in Title-1 schools over the summer. Lead workshops and activities that focus on developing a growth mindset and high school preparation. Assisted middle school teachers with their planned summer curriculum and nurtured an ideal learning environment for the students. Negotiated with potential donors.
