Producing this show required: - Recruiting and leading of production team of 4 people, along with our TIMB contact. - Meeting all deadlines, constant team communication, organized/assigned/used all aspects of G-Suite for efficient shared workspaces, led weekly Houston team update and accountability calls, weekly calls with TIMB.- Researched and negotiated for venues, securing The Hobby Center, a large and well-known venue. Filled all roles for necessary staff through expert negotiation skills. - Led team in over achieving targets for fundraising (137%), donors (215%), and sponsorships (all levels). Ticketing sales almost sold out (7 remaining of 500).- Created and deployed grass roots campaign to fill goal of 12-15 storytellers. I walked, talked and networked, and hung flyers. Recruited friends to help. Attended poetry/slam poetry events, local musicians’ shows, mental health/mental illness events, and used social media (Facebook/Instagram).
