In this head office, Foundation-wide role, I am responsible for supporting all ESF schools in achieving their mission and vision of creating joyful learning environments that enable every student to be the best they can be. By working in partnership with ESF senior leaders, teachers, and students, and by building strong professional relationships with external stakeholders, I support each of our schools to achieve key organisational strategic priorities.

Working with the Heads of Science of the 7 ESF High Schools on strategic plans and shared areas of priority. Liaising with IB Head Office about training possibilities in advance of teaching the new DP science courses and forming a working party of 20+ colleagues from across the Foundation to collaboratively plan and make resources for the new courses.

Leading a varied team of science teachers and laboratory technicians, focusing on curriculum development (MYP and DP sciences), ensuring world-class learning opportunities both in the classroom and online, reviewing and updating assessment practices, reducing the gap between written and taught curricula, increasing alignment between teachers and empowering students by hearing their voice.

- Growing numbers studying IB physics at Aiglon, with results consistently well above the world average- Encouraging student leadership through space science and developing a world-class robotic observatory at Aiglon- deputy-Director for the Round Square International Conference in October 2016; 500 delegates from 70 schools across the world spent a week at Aiglon. Keynote speakers included HRH King Constantine of Greece, the Aga Khan, Col Al Worden (Apollo 15), Sir Jackie Stewart and others. - I headed up the Aiglon accreditation process, overseeing a very successful CIS & NEASC re-accrediation visit in September 2016.- I coordinate and analyse the results of annual school evaluation surveys at Aiglon- I set up international service projects in Thailand & Cambodia, raised over Chf 100'000 and led student groups to work at these locations- I run annual trips to Spacefest, where our students meet astronauts and space scientists.- I was resident deputy housemaster of a 13-18 boys boarding house (50 boys) for 5 years

I ran the school's entry for the annual IoP Physics Challenge competition with great success. I ran the school's Young Enterprise Scheme, the D of E Bronze Award and the school sailing team.
