Current• Led, developed, and mentored a team of four development professionals that are responsible for generating 1.4M in operating funds annually. • Created and executed strategic fundraising plans, leveraging best practices in annual, major, and planned gift programs. • Developed and implemented processes that cultivated long-term relationships by converting members to donors and donors to investors, maintained a dynamic portfolio of high net-worth individuals, and secured major, capital, and planned gifts. • Monitored professional trends and legislative and regulatory developments at the federal, state, and local levels that affect cultural and nonprofit institutions, while engaging in partnership with a lobbyist to secure a 1M state appropriation. • Served as liaison to the Board for Development and Governance and led the organization’s 5-year strategic planning efforts as part of the Pathfinders core team. • Oversaw grant submissions (government and foundations) totaling 5M annually which included a 2.3M grant from NOAA awarded for the development of a Center for Heat Monitoring at the Museum.
