As CBDO I worked with our communications team to outreach to new areas, schools, non-profits, home-school organizations, and more in California for our courses. I organized and updated our database, as well as wrote emails for new upcoming courses.

Echelon Catapult is a high school student-led STEM learning organization. We teach a variety of in-person courses, ranging from cybersecurity to biology. At EC our mission is to give all students and under-served communities an exceptional opportunity to learn and to develop a passion for STEM.As an Instructor I created course content like presentations, syllabi, registration forms, and attendance sheets. I also taught material for courses and lead activities/labs. The Operations Team creates spreadsheets and registration forms to organize each of our courses, and create tasks that need to be completed for upcoming classes.

- Completed a research project on finding the distance from Earth to the Small Magellanic Cloud using cepheid variables by using python in Jupyter Notebook- Attended lectures given by UC Davis professors and researchers about Stellar Evolution, Cosmology, and more related to astrophysics and astronomy - Visited observatories and museums in California

- Oversaw, encouraged, and taught a group of 8-12 year old summer camp students- Led STEM/STEAM activities based on the theme of the week (aviation, space, engineering)- Actively worked with a team of counselors and volunteers to prepare and lead camp- Prepared for daily camp needs including supply set up, organization, and clean up- Performed first AID when necessary and ensured campers behavior and safety

Providing a platform to uplift student voices and give them greater confidence and fulfillment in their writing

A program training young innovators at the Olympic level to make an impact on the world. TKS is a human accelerator, through which the next generation of innovators talk and learn about new emerging technologies and real world problems. I applied mindsets and my knowledge of technology and science learned throughout the program in presentations, hackathons, articles, and challenges.(placed in Top 6 during PathCheck Challenge)

During the PathCheck x TKS Challenge, with a team of high school students from The Knowledge Society, I helped develop new ideas for marketing the PathCheck Foundation app.
