CYTOGENETICS:(Karyotyping and FISH done on Peripheral blood, Amniotic fluid, Product of conception, Sperm, Cord blood, Fetal samples and other Solid tissues)• Independently set up Cytogenetics and Molecular genetics lab.• Developed, optimized and implemented new diagnostic procedures wherever required.• Expertise in investigating procedures, harvesting, slide preparation, analysis and reporting also wherever requested storage of samples for short term.• All procedures are carried out under sterile condition includes health & safety.• Well experienced in karyotyping analysis and Fluorescent in-situ hybridization technique (FISH) analysis.• Trained in Pre-implantation Genetics diagnosis/screening, where embryos at 8-cell stages, blastocyst stage and morula stage. MOLECULAR GENETICS:• Maintain complete sterile condition to conduct molecular work• Blood or tissue sample preparation for DNA isolation• DNA isolation and PCR amplification for Single gene disorder, Y chromosome microdeletion using kit method.
