Divya Shah is Co-Founder of Happify U, a platform that connects people to mental health experts. She is an International Award-Winning Journalist, Social Entrepreneur, Influencer, and evangelist for mental well-being. Divya has done master’s in mass communication and human rights. She has work experience of 17years and has been a Senior Correspondent with leading English news channel CNN IBN. Divya has been bestowed with several awards and recognition for her exemplary work in Journalism which includes Transparency International for a story on corruption and the United Nations (UNFPA) Award for a gender discrimination story.Divya has worked closely with many corporate giants like Tata power, Government ministries and NGOs like Earthworm, PSI on their corporate films. She regularly conducts workshops for corporates and students on communication, happiness, goal setting, team building, empathy, and Inner child etc. During covid Divya created an online social awareness platform called Radio Diva which has been running successfully from last three years and has hosted more than 250 sessions covering a range of topics including grief, loneliness, gadget addiction in children, women empowerment etc. This initiative was also covered by India’s Leading Newspaper Hindustan Times. Working closely with Counsellors, Divya realized the huge gap between mental health service providers and seekers and created HappifyU which is a platform to connect Counsellors to people. It also customizes special programs for organizations, institutions, and individuals to improve their emotional health and help them achieve their true potential.Divya is a certified Counsellor with diploma in Inner Child Healing, Family Constellation and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). She strongly advocates that we all are work in progress and the “work on self” is a lifelong process. She believes that a person grows immensely by reading, meeting people and travelling.Divya regularly expresses herself through poems and blogs.
