Worked with BD India, a subsidiary of Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a Fortune 500 American medical technology company that manufactures and sells medical devices, instrument systems, and reagents, in supply chain department. My Project required me to develop time series forecasting models for sales in different business in BD India and thus leading to increase in forecast accuracy-Developed an intuitive forecasting tool, using macros in excel, to be used by demand planners of different Business Units at BD.-The tool picked the best model out of 4 statistical models namely Holt Winters, Linear Exponential Smoothing, AutoRegression and Moving Average and forecasted the sales based on past history.-Analysed the positive impact of the forecasting tool on businesses in BD due to increase in forecast accuracy and thus safety stock reduction-Recommendations and action plans based on data analysis.

I worked in the capacity of Application developer for banking client having its presence in Asia Pacific and North America region.
