Bid related Engineering activities - Advance Engineering.-Evaluation of tender document – technical specifications, addendum etc.-Discussion with customer on technical clarification & queries and propose best suited solutions, alternative technical proposals, penetrate new ideas and concepts-Estimation of engineering scope of work-Interface with various sites and functions for Scope split, Split of Responsibility and their commitments-Consolidated engineering inputs to the Bid team and key account management team for strategic decisionsEngineering activities - Electrical system engineer- Preparing Product Type test specifications.- Interaction with various Labs. to get product Certification.- Vehicle system integration for ongoing EMU project. - Vehicle commissioning & type testing mainly including system performance, Interference, Environmental tests and passenger safety related tests - Product and Vehicle level interaction with RDSO and User Railways.- Co-ordinate and Organize Vehicle Type Test with Approving Authorities and Customer. - Detailing of the various functional concepts - Understand customer’s requirements, detailed study on feasibility and possible modifications, and penetrate new ideas and concepts- Present solutions, overcome objection and create new opportunities - Detailing of the functional logic, protection concept and selection of the appropriate switchgear products- Detailing of the functional integration to the vehicle from electrical and mechanical prospective- Engineering Bill Of Material Engineering support- Develop components Indigenous, Localisation.- Failure investigation by on board analytical measurements. - Product development.

Certification testing of LT switchgears for fulfilling the requirements as per IS, IEC, EN, NFC, UL etc. Domain experties in Main & Auxiliary contactors, protective relays, Circuit Breakers, Product Type testing.
