The primary objective of my role was to lead the Midwest Region for the Talking Rain Beverage Company in with in the Foodservice Channels of Business Across the Midwest. The Midwest Region was made up of these states: KY, IN, IL, OH, WPA, MI, MN, WI, KS,MO, SD, ND, IA and NE. Channels of Business included C-Store, Vending, Food Service, C&U, Hospitality & Lodging, Small Format & Non-Traditional Retail, Distribution, GPO's & Contract Management, and Healthcare. As Regional Sales Manager I am responsible for identifying opportunities, developing, and growing partnerships with distributors, managing brokers, and opening new accounts that align with our Brand's mission and values. This was the brand’s first venture into these channels of Business, Being a Strong & Large Retail Brand up until March of 2015, they had never had a team or developed a Strategy to expand into Food Service I was one of the first to help them do so. This was a fun time in my career selling Sparkling Ice into channels of business for the Very first time! In the four years I was a part of this team we saw an explosion of all NEW’s with Sparkling Ice; New Business, New Points of Distribution, New GPO Contracts, New Accounts and New Brand Loyalty across lots of new consumers. Thanks to our early development into Foodservice Sparkling Ice can be found many places outside of Retail & Grocery Stores; You can find it at your kids high school, on their college campus, you can buy it at your local quick serve restaurant, find it on the job site and in your workplace. Even purchase it at Restaurant Depot store, or at a Gordon Marketplace Store.
