Responsibilities include finalizing of group businesses while maximizing the banquet space to meet/exceed sales goals, solicit, negotiate and book new/repeat business by via outside sales calls, telemarketing, networking, etc. Responsible for obtaining $700K+ of banquet/catering sales per year. Other activities include planning all events, up-selling and detailing functions with the client including, detailing space requirements, times, menus, themes, completing of contracts, preparing of appropriate paperwork, coordinating with the appropriate areas in the hotel, resolving customer issues, to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Activities include assisting guests' wants and needs, providing information on shows, restaurants, city directions, building close relationships with VIP and nightclub hosts, and five star restaurants, while constantly up-selling amenities to clients to gain a greater return on profits. Maintaining the service and standards set by a four star/four diamond property that is on its way to being five stars/five diamonds.
