I am a small town kid, who is trying to live that big city dream. After spending the first seventeen years of my life in the middle of New Hampshire I knew I needed a change. Two weeks after I graduated high school, I packed my bags and moved just outside of Atlanta, Georgia and stayed with my Aunt and Uncle for a few months while I tried to figure out my next steps. Not really knowing what I wanted to do, I had a family friend recommend going into property management because Atlanta was on the rise. I followed his recommendation and ended up working in the building engineering space for a little over two years. Over that time I felt like I lost myself. I was in a new city, with no friends, no plan for my future, nothing. I tend to look back at this time and think it was my rock bottom. 19 years old, working a “dead end” job, and not taking care of myself. At this point, I weighted over 300 pounds and I was not in a good place mentally. This is where I decided to make a change. Over the following two years, I lost nearly 130 pounds and ended up finding my passion for helping other people do the same. These events lead me to enroll back in college and go and become a certified personal trainer. These changes lead me to packing up my life again and allowed me to move to Raleigh, North Carolina. Which is where I still am today. After becoming a very successful personal trainer, I was promoted to General Manager of the gym that I worked at. This role really tested my leadership abilities, and allowed me to grow in ways that I didn’t even know I could. My team and I rebuilt a failing gym after the Covid-19 pandemic.So, what now? The gym environment was so amazing, but sadly the work life balance was non-existent. Because of that I have now transitioned into helping people and businesses improve their digital workspaces. I know what it’s like to have to put in the 80+ hours a week and my goal is to give someone a solution so that way they don’t have to do that.
