Virtual Tools in a Material Culture is a voluntary evening course in computational design, specifically in the use of Grasshopper, intended for the architecture and engineering students at Chalmers. The course includes a design project, scripting exercises in C# and a two-day workshop.The role consists in assisting lectures, student consultation, correction of assignments as well as helping organizing the workshop.

Rhino in Google Chrome• Conceptual design and analysis for decking over Victoria Station rails• Training of neural networks (machine learning) and handling of large data sets to investigate safe standing for Premier League

I got this role as a junior trainee at NCC Roads via Tekniksprånget, which is a workplace training program for young students. The role involved a great variety of practices - physical as well as clerical. On the one hand, I got to be out on the field and e.g. asphalt, weld, put up road signs and inspect bridges and roads. On the other hand, I got to take care of bookkeeping and invoicing, and attend meetings.
