We develop firmware for embedded devices in Steelcase products with various functions like occupation sensing, control-solutions for height-adjustable desks and chairs.- BLE 4.2 for OTA firmware upgrades.- ARM Cortex M4 SoC.- Production test planning and development.- CAN and LIN bus.

ROMCode development for OMAP5 and OMAP6:- Debugging code on pre-silicon platforms (NC-SIm, VIRTIO, ZeBu).- C and ARM assembly (Cortex A15) development.- Bash and Perl scripting.- Tools: Make, Clearcase, Eclipse.

- Product development. Hardware: Board bringup and design. Software: Embedded development (C, assembly and C++), UI development in C#, VB, Labview and C++. Designed the majority of the digital portion of a brand-new sensor (LongRanger or FD600) which required Multicore DSPs (C6474), a high speed interconnect (SRIO), controller hardware for laser control (OMAP L138). Redesigned parts of the (digital) hardware of a fiber-optical intrusion detection system (FD525) where we added a CAN bus for peripheral expansion and wrote our own, easy to use, CAN-bus protocol stack.Initiated and developed new software products like Fiber-Commander, a sensor monitoring system with maps and logging, to be able to support client needs.- Manage consultants: FPGA (Spartan 3) where a new feature had to be added to increase our sensing capabilities (sample-rate + zone-count). Generated specs with NCsim like waveform diagrams.- Software Team Lead: Provided technical leadership for software design.- Code maintenance: fix issues and add features to existing code (C#, VB, C++ and embedded C for HC11 and C2000).- On-site debugging: Went on-site to supervise (new) product installation and do debugging for integration with client systems.- Provide and assist with product documentation, source control, version management and bug-tracking.- Misc: Schematics/Gerber/BOM reviews, CE-testing (and debugging).
