Worked with sales consultant to develop a plan for putting 3D printing into the business's structure. Developed familiarity with the market for additive manufacturing in the Phoenix area, as well as product lines from Stratasys (specifically, Fortus) and SLM Solutions. Work was completed in infrequent (~3 total) intensive (~40 h/week) 1 week sessions.

Designed and taught a comprehensive science curriculum for 7th-11th grade (apx 90 students) ESL students. Classes include Life, Physical, Earth Science as well as mathematical Physics. Maintained transparent assessment and grading. Worked with students to create a positive and tolerable learning environment.

Worked in a small group to measure the channel environment of the Middle Fork, John Day River. Research related to the monitoring of restoration projects on the river through the academic work of Prof. Patricia McDowell. All work was done in 3 two-week sessions through an on-site camp. A typical day consisted of cross section measurements and descriptions, gravel counts, and locating monuments for the next day's measurements. Use of Autolevels, stadia rods, gravelometers, GPS (Topcon base stations and Trimble handheld units), and metal detectors.

Worked as a co-instructor in a 100-level science course for non-science students taught by a regular teaching professor. Assisted with course development, lecture preparation, lectures presentation, assistance with lecture demonstrations (including prior setup and testing), homework and exam preparation, and held office hours for class students. Through program, participated in the weekly Science Literacy Journal Club for discussion of literature on science education pedagogy.Served with Prof. Michael Raymer in Winter term 2011 and Ass. Prof. Benjamin Mcmorran in Winter term 2012, both times teaching Physics 151: The Physics Behind the Internet.
