Norfolk And Norwich University Hospital

I work as part of the Community Access Team (CAT - formally EIT) and assess patients within the Emergency Department of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. We are a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, assistant practitioners and nurses, who complete functional assessments to ensure safe and appropriate discharges from A+E. Our main remit is to avoid inappropriate admissions to the hospital, and arrange for community services to support patients whom may require additional support. I initially started this job as a 10 month secondment, but was delighted to be offered a permanent position in June 2017.
