• Responsibility for 30,000m² distribution operation, covering the despatch of over 3000 SKU’s, third party logistics and management of 40 staff with 6 direct reports. Continued responsibility for all IT systems.
• Redefined the structure of the operations function, aligning business needs, and the plan for expansion, with existing resources and people.
• Defined clear roles & responsibilities within the operations function and implemented a PDP system linking the business plan with individual performance.
• Implemented a KPI’s culture, highlighting problem areas and putting into effect changes to improve these. Carrier performance improved from 90% to 98%.

• HTI is a leading independent designer, manufacturer and distributor of toys in the UK.Supplying across the world direct from the Far East and UK distribution centre.
• Implemented cloud based Office 365 covering 200 users in the UK and Far East. Eliminated infrastructure costs replacing with an Opex model.
• Enhanced collaborative working using a combination of technologies including Microsoft Lync and Polycom video conferencing.
• Implemented the Pixsell iPad sales tools, including order entry and CRM, into the UK sales team, making this one of the most advanced in the UK toy industry.

• Following MBO promoted to position of Director of Business systems. My role in the business expanded from purely IT to business operations. Joined the strategy leadership team for the company.
• Championed and led the introduction of Cognos into the business providing a clear view of how the business was operating. Margin year on year increased following the introduction.
