Took this small company which had no employees, and only a part time staff member from a sister company monitoring the emails and phone (when it rang) to bring a prominent UK supplier, employing 3 full time staff along with 2 part time staff. Increased turn over from just shy of £100k (the company had been in business over 10 yrs when I arrived) to over £500k in just 3 years. This was achieved with my knowledge of Ecommerce and understanding how people from different industries use and interact with the internet.It was important as part of my business plan to drive down prices from suppliers, for example one supplier was giving just 5% off list price to suplply us, after a meeting this this supplier I achieved a discount of 40%. Another company was giving the company just 20% discount, again I got this down to 55%. All these heavy discounts were all part of my business plan in order to supply not just the end users but supply chains too.
