Responsible for the overall coordination, management and supervision of the Food Bank’s distribution operations and physical location. This includes the agency store, warehouse, fleet management, warehouse equipment, building facilities and all personnel related to these areas. Primary responsibility is to establish effective procedures and controls using industry standard operating procedures to ensure food and personnel safety, efficiency and sanitation for the Food Bank. Additional responsibilities include ongoing evaluations of warehouse systems and maintenance programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, health department and Feeding America regulations. Create and manage operational budgets to deliver on the Food Bank mission. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased efficiency.
