During the past 30+ years I have studied the roles that receptor tyrosine kinases play in human malignancies. I am particularly interested in the roles that members of the ErbB/EGF receptor family play in human malignancies. Currently, my laboratory is focused on novel inhibitors of ErbB receptors, signal integration and cross-talk among ErbB receptors, and the roles that ErbB4 plays in human cancers. I also have an active consulting business in which I provide assistance in pharmaceutical intellectual property legal matters. I specialize in providing expert opinions on the mechanisms of action of anticancer drugs.
