This included integrating an external photo gallery application. I implemented more than 6 separate themes to support the various sites.The decision was made to move the sites to Wordpress. I wrote a custom application to translate the data from the old application to Wordpress in order to preserve the old articles in the new system. I integrated the photo gallery application into Wordpress using a custom Wordpress plugin. I implemented several custom Wordpress themes to support the various sites.For the forums, I implemented some custom skinning on our original forum software. The forums were transitioned for vBulletin from the old software. I was part of the team overseeing that transition. I was responsible for skinning vBulletin to look as close as possible to the old software. We successfully migrated the largest single brand car forum in the world. In vBulletin, I implemented skin changes as they came up and implemented small feature changes and adjustments. I also helped manage the external vendor responsible for maintenance.VMG used a custom Perl application for sales management. I implemented feature changes and updates and process changes in that software as requested.The primary technologies I used at VMG were HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Wordress, vBulletin, Photoshop, Perl, MySql, Apache, and WHM.
