Teaching Junior Cycle students physical education and mathematics as part of my fourth year placement. The placement lasts the duration of the school year so it gives me the opportunity to develop positive relationships with the staff and students.

Employed as a Fibre optic technician, travelling to various sites across the Greater Munster Area. Responsibilities included: Ensuring a safe working area by displaying road signage, communicating with the Head of Department, hitting targets as stated by the Project Manager and reading OS maps.

Teaching and observing Junior and Senior cycle math classes as part of a three-week placement. I was also involved in extra-curricular activities such as strength and conditioning for the U16 hurling team.

Plan and organize activities that are game based with a strong emphasis based on skill acquisition. Ensure the holistic development of each child at camp with a view to optimizing learning, enhancing friendships and improving physical and psychological well being.
