• Implement quality control procedures and methods on manufactured and research materials using a range of analytical methods including rheology, DSC, TGA, TMA, HPLC, GC, and ICP/MS.• Developed HPLC and GPC/SEC methods for new instrumentation to support research and manufacturing activities. Carry out routine analysis of manufactured products to ensure batch to batch consistency in both purity and product identity.• Created GC methods to support recycling of solvents used in-process leading to a significant reduction in hazardous waste generation and manufacturing costs.• Lead the sourcing and implementation of Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometry instrumentation. Designed and implemented methods to identify and quantify elemental impurities in an organic matrix providing greater quality control of manufactured products.• Supervise quality control technicians, ensure all instruments are properly maintained and calibrated, quality control procedures are accurately followed and all data are recorded in accordance with the company’s Quality Control Manual.• Actively review, update, and write procedures, specifications, and guidelines which are published in company-wide Quality Control Manual used by senior management, research and development, and manufacturing.
