This short contract position was designed to temporarily relieve the existing I.T Manager, oversee the complete I.T infrastructure, resolve system issues, and train users.Facilitated the investigation of a long time system issue. Cert Pro is an online search system used by distributors to retrieve Mill Test Certificates. The system would not always find the Test Cert for the Distributor and gave an error. After an analysis of the process and database tables, I was able to find the cause(s) of this issue, document it, & implement changes to prevent the issue from happening again. SPC Commerce was implemented and used as an EDI interface between Crosby and Distributors. The system was functional but left room for improvement. Researched & re-configured EDI portal improving user efficiency in sales, warehouse and accounting. Provided training to warehouse on for Advanced Shipping Notice entries. Managed Nightly System Backup, Network Infrastructure, and Hardware & Software.
