- Envision and effectively operationalize a new learning business at a fast-paced, matrixed organization.- Build, manage, and optimize a shared services model supporting training and learning in alignment with business needs.- Lead and establish the company’s learning infrastructure - such as learning platforms, administration, content, technology, analytics, and vendor management- Implement scalable, global, enterprise-wide learning solutions- Responsible for training/learning and ensuring that the content/coordination is effective and meets the needs of Corporate Compliance, Human Resources, Legal, Quality, Security, and Environmental Health and Safety functions

Assess and identify the gains, costs, and risks of converting instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually this is adapting materials from face-to-face or Powerpointpresentations to e-learning assets).- Assist subject matter experts with identifying vendor created educational content.- Support the on-line learning environment through training and implementation, and promotes the expanded use of learning management system tools.- Direct a diverse team of software developers, system administrators, and instructional designers. Pass along vision, expertise, and align budget to team members to close on all levels of projects.

- Manages the project implementation process, including time utilization, cost analysis, prioritization of assignments, deployment strategy, and training and support.- Establishes new software objectives or needs for enhancements with department leadership, and develops solutions and methodology to proceed.- Manages internal personnel charged with development of user requirements, design specifications, custom building/testing, integration and user acceptance.- Develops project definitions and establishes necessary resources to accomplish objectives- Organizes documentation, testing, debugging, deployment, quality improvement, training and all related project management activity.- Maintains communication and engagement with end users in planning, progress and post-deployment stages.- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and adjusts schedules as required. - Prepares reports for end users and leadership. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve issues.- Participates in the project team hiring process.- Responsible for project team performance appraisals, counseling and professional development.
