I am a mental health professional with a passion for well-being; my skills and interests are rooted in the study of both philosophy and science and honed by training in counseling. After serving in public higher education for several years, I am now applying what I have learned as a Therapist and Meditation Instructor. I have nearly a decade of experience teaching and designing a first-year experience seminar that relies heavily on the development of students into peer educators. My experience in academic coaching combined with my teaching experience and mental health training have instilled in me a love of helping others to overcome challenges and pursue a meaningful and rewarding life.I have also pursued my personal well-being through the practice of meditation. I offer guided meditation classes as a way to support my own well-being and share with others the benefits of contemplative practices in their many forms.
