NewForce is a six-month coding bootcamp that uses a curriculum developed in partnership with Nashville Software School. The program is divided into two halves, focusing on front-end web development and server-side development. Students gain proficiency in the C# language and .NET framework, which are central to Microsoft’s technology stack for application development. The program is conducted in a virtual classroom over Zoom, with three full-time instructors. Students build around ten team-based projects and two solo capstone projects. The program is open to West Virginia residents only. Graduates are qualified to work as junior, full-stack software or web developers. Companies are eligible for a 50% salary reimbursement for the first six months of a NewForce graduate’s employment.
