About Dave L. Whipp

The financial services industry is operating in a world with rapidly evolving client needs for information along with an array of emerging technologies available to support them. As the Director of Operations and Portfolio Administration for C.H. Dean, I thrive on this fast pace and the challenge of finding and adopting new technologies that bring efficiency and accuracy to how we meet these ever-changing client needs.Our firm culture is all about working collaboratively to put client needs first. This culture sets the tone of how I manage the team that supports all aspects of operations and trading at the firm. Our department provides seamless trading and operational support for the accounts managed by C.H. Dean as well as the strategies of our affiliate, Dean Capital Management.While I love technology and operations, I’m also a huge dog lover. Outside of work,my wife and I are transport volunteers for rescue dogs leaving kill shelters for new homes outside of the Dayton area.I’m also logging my 35th year as a volunteer firefighter.
