Coordination of monthly closing. Reporting to relevant stakeholders and leaders in the different countries. Dealing with local external auditors and tax consultants.Member of international accounting steering group, with responsibility for driving operational excellence in our global accounting processes. Mainly project driven work, such as accuracy of our quarter end financials, revenue recognition, leasing, intercompany transactions, shortening of the year end close for consolidation.Company Director for our South African subsidiary company.

Large, well-known global companies. Executed all aspects of audit engagements by planning, agreeing budgets, overseeing team member responsibilities, organising kick-off meetings, and agreeing the inter-office instructions with overseas colleagues, right through to closing meetings with the client. Main contact person for the client before, during, and after the audit engagement.Audit work focused on reviewing reporting packs, which were required by the parent companies for consolidation, reconciliations between US GAAP/IFRS and HGB, as well as the statutory financial statements.
