Managed the scoping, installation and management of the colleges' NetLab platform and associated infrastructure.

I lectured in Cyber Security as well as cloud computing and server technologies, including VMware, Cisco and Microsoft based solutions.I coordinate, develop and deliver industry training program's for various companies who have engaged BHI to deliver training solutions for their employees. Recent clients include Johnson Control Systems, Schneider APC and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.I run Train the Trainer program's for Cisco IT Essentials, Cisco Cyber Operations and VMware vSphere 5.xx/6.xx/7.xxI recently contributed to the creation of the Advanced Diploma of Cyber Security.• Co-Authored "Design and implement a virtualised cyber security infrastructure for an organisation" in the new Advanced Diploma of Cyber Security.• Now developing the associated learning resources to accompany the unit.• Design, development and delivery of networking and IT courses to instructors (train the trainer courses), including PC Hardware and Maintenance (CompTIA A+) and VMware courses using a mixture of in-person, blended and remote delivery.• Design and development of additional material for courses provided.• Design, implementation and maintenance of NETLAB AE, PE and VE systems for multiple educational institutions..• Development of community supported custom Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop NETLAB Labs for use in the Citrix IT Academy program.• Management of courses offered within the Cisco Networking Academy Program.• Provide support to academies within the Cisco Networking Academy Program.• Liaison with academies within the Cisco Networking Academy Program and partners.• Equipment maintenance, management and provisioning.• Test and development of new equipment options, which has included Cisco UCS, NetApp SAN and various Dell Servers.• Maintained relationships with IT vendors, including Cisco, VMware, Citrix, EMC, NetApp and LPI.• Installation and maintenance of Pearson VUE testing centres across multiple sites and mobile locations.

The purpose of this fellowship is to research emerging trends in Cloud Computing, software defined networking and workforce mobility technologies. The results of my research will be used to develop new training resources for the IT vocational training industry sector. To achieve this very broad aim, I will be visiting the USA during the month on May and attending several industry conferences and also visiting the leading technology companies who operate in this space.
