Grew the program portfolio's revenue 65% in the first three fiscal years while nearly tripling the revenue of the Advanced Program in Sustainable Management. I worked dual roles as an academic Program Director and with marketing as a Product Strategist to enhance and optimize the organization's internal operations. This dual role resulted from a manual cleansing project I spearheaded, analyzing over a decade of legacy course and transaction data. Data quality issues had inhibited the integration of legacy data with a new enterprise application software (Destiny Solutions). Successful project completion led to many of the following projects:• Modeled the actual cost of canceled courses and low enrollment courses, which saved over $300K annually.• Collaborated with the IS team to design standardized reports to launch a new system-wide reporting tool BERT (Berkeley Extension Reporting Tool). • Designed and developed course/instructor survey reports for all Extension courses. Quarterly reports provided overall student satisfaction and instructor performance relative to historical benchmarks. • Optimized course scheduling for all Business, Management & Technology programs which reduced course cancellation rates by 50% and increased gross margins. • Collaborated with colleagues to support their formal five-year program reviews. Services included: administering surveys in Qualtrics, quantitative data analysis, competitive intelligence, and career & employment trends.

Developed the methodology, completed all research and scoring for the global automotive sector for the inaugural FTSE CDP Carbon Strategy Index. FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange), an award-winning global investment index provider, was one of the first to develop innovative index funds for socially conscious investors. The FTSE CDP Carbon Strategy Index focused on high-emissions sectors and modeled the cost of carbon impacts each company will bear related to climate regulations.

Started-up and grew two of the company’s four distribution centers in Springfield, MO, and Peoria, IL. I was an integral partner in all stages from new market expansion assessment, warehouse selection, hired all staff, and oversaw all aspects of daily operations, including operating heavy equipment. Grew sales to $2M in both centers in the first year while achieving a 16% net profit margin.Business development efforts involved market research and competitive intelligence to assist in product and market expansions.
