Throughout my life I have owned my own company and helped several start ups. Understanding people and technology has always come natural . I enjoy a good logical challenge and am extremely self motivated. While starting at Jaxon Construction I was doing minor handyman projects and quickly learned how to sell and build a retail roofing job. After fully understanding the process of installing a roof I was able to generate a system to keep track of the P&L of each job to drill down a number for a commission position. When hurricane Harvey hit I spent months in Houston replacing over 300 roofs for a property management company contract as well as a few flood remodels. After the extensive stay I moved my family down and created a new location of Jaxon Construction. I was the only one in houston from then on. In 2021 I generated $600k in sales from referrals and Home Advisor leads. During this time the owner received his 8(a) certification for Federal contracts. I quickly self taught myself to understand Sam.gov, WAWF, PIEE, IPP and other government systems to win and bill contracts. By 2023 I was awarded $1.1 million in federal contracts. I quickly found a way to generate acceptable submittals, accident prevention plans, job hazard analyses and quality control programs for each project.
