During my tenure, Brunswick Rail Leasing became a significant private player in the provision of rolling stock through leasing to key industries: metals, mining, pulp and paper, retail, and consumer goods, reaching assets of $500 million. • Recruited to direct the startup, oversee acquisition of fleet of railcars from major Ukrainian suppliers (DniproVagonMash, Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works, AzovMash) and direct business development with major clients and potential investors.• Directed Deloitte & Company to create a Greenfield business plan and strategy.• Created an innovative and unique leasing product for the Russian market, offering five-year operational leasing services to clients.• Negotiated financing from leading international private equity firms and financial institutions, including The International Finance Corporation (IFC), Sumitomo Corporation, Raiffeisen Bank• Grew the fleet from start up to 10,000 railcars.
