Responsible for managing the Fleet Personnel Department and introduction of best industry practice within Fleet Personnel Department. On daily basis monitored performance of the crew coordinators in the Department. In charge of forward planning of officers and crew for 40 vessels (bulkers); monitoring the performance of the crew on board, following up on P&I cases, managing the disciplinary action process. Responsible for group budgeting and approval of disbursements. In close contact with Operations, Chartering and Technical departments regarding the crew matrix, vessels schedule, audits and inspections. Maintained a good relationship with Unions (ITF) and Auditors re. crew complements, crew wages, Union covers and third party inspections, monitoring regional regulations. Involved in a takeover of new vessels purchased from another ship owner by a third party client: (appointment of new manning agents and new multi-national crew, ITF cover, BIMCO agreements, smooth arrangements and sufficient hand over for on and off signing crew). Contacting with PSC, national and port authorities on different cases. Monitoring of wage scale in region, making offers to Shipowner for changing wage level. Optimizing the procedures of crew department, updating IT solutions for simplification of all procedures ( reports, information to vessels, agents), working with professional educational for arranging students program with cadets, arranging any reports, rotation plan, contacting with Maritime administration of Malta, Belize, passing through audits; taking a part in investigation of accidents/incidents occurred on vessels.Supervising a team of 6 specialists.

Responsible for the selection of crew for 42 vessel of 2 shipowners, arranging crew changes; arranging visas and immigration clearance for joiners and off signers; managing contracts; controlling national documents of seafarers and flag state documents (i.e. Beliz, Malta, Jamaica, Cambodia); organising payments to seafarers and creditors; responsible for flights arrangement; managing the budgeting process; approving invoices; allocating expenses to the relevant cost centre as per charter party and BIMCO agreements (Crewman A, Crewman B); acting as intermediary between the owners and agents; liaising with Operations, Chartering and Technical departments regarding crew matrix, vessels schedule, audits and inspections; supervising a team of 3.
