I was employed on a full time basis as a Senior Project Engineer with UGL. Since joining UGL I have worked on a variety of projects across Australia:- Hill to Hill Transmission Line, South Australia (May 2019 - July 2020):A 280km long Electricity Transmission Line running from Davenport Substation in Port Augusta to Roxby Downs.- Koodaideri 220kV OHTL and 220/33kV Substation, Western Australia (July 2020 - Jan 2021):A 25km long Overhead Transmission Line and Substation for Rio Tinto in the Pilbara Region.- Victorian Big Battery, Victoria (January 2021 - November 2021):A 300MW TESLA Battery installation located opposite the Moorabool Terminal Station in Victoria.- Sydney West Battery, NSW (January 2021 - November 2021):A 50MW TESLA Battery and substation located adjacent to the Wallgrove Substation in NSW.My day to day responsibilities included:* Planning* Productivity Tracking * QA Management* Managing Budgets* Procurement* Change Control* Technical Assistance / Problem Solving* Stakeholder Liaison* Subcontractor Management

Following Magnox I moved into consultancy where I was initially employed by Waldeck. At Waldeck I was appointed as the Project Lead on the preliminary design of a new £12m intermediate level waste facility within the nuclear sector. Working on a nuclear generation power station and decommissioning site. I was responsible for maintenance schedule compliance on all civil structures. My main role was to ensure that the Civil Infrastructure remained fit for purpose. I oversaw the inspection, evaluation, testing and maintenance of key civil and structural assets on the site. I managed a schedule of structural inspections and produced reports and specifications for forward asset management plans. I managed the technical delivery of work carried out by contractors and consultants. I ensured that the work was in accordance with the required specification and quality, and within the remit of the nuclear safety case. I was the project engineering lead on a variety of asset management and decommissioning projects.I provided technical support for the site on civil and structural engineering matters.
