We discovered a it took a considerable amount of time to change over their production dies (on average 2 ½ hours). We worked with a company on training and implementing Quick Change Over techniques. As a result, their change over time dropped to just under an hour. They average 7 die changes per week. That equates to 10 ½ hours additional production time per week. Thus eliminating the need for overtime!
