Worked as a part of the Site Reliability Engineering team on CDN platfrom.Main responsibilities:- Discovering and analyzing systems performance related bottlenecks- Discovering, analyzing anomalies and issues, with goal of figuring root cause and mitigatingissue.- Capacity planning using regressive machine learning models, and other statistical methodswhen applicable- Automating everyday repeatable stuff- Writing custom monitoring tools for other teamsRequired Skills:- High level knowledge of Linux and operating systems.- Scripting languages (Python, Bash)- Experience with Prometheus- Experience with Grafana- Docker- DB knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, TimeScaleDB and others)- Statistics and ML.- Traffic analyzing tools (Kentik, Cedexis, Catchpoint...)- CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
