Responsible for personnel actions for OEMS, including hiring personnel for the Office of Cardiac Care, Regional EMS Directors, and Regional EMS Training Coordinators. Serve as the EMS license officer, the EMS Data Manager, and State Training Coordinator. Oversee all personnel and aspects of Licensing/Compliance, Regional EMS Systems, and Clinical Data & Systems of Care (Cardiac, Trauma, Stroke, EMS-C, GEMSIS). Responsible for the implementation of the new license management system, updating all EMS rules and regulations, updating the EMS instructor licensure process and EMS educational program approval process, and the integration of all data systems (trauma, stroke, cardiac, EMS). Serve on various national committees/advisory groups (NEMSIS, NASEMSO Data Managers, NREMT), and serve as the Georgia Commissioner for the Interstate Commission for EMS Personnel Practice.

Took responsibility for the implementation of the Emergency Cardiac Care Center (ECCC) system in Georgia. Worked to develop cardiac care protocols, standardize the designation process for specialty care centers (trauma, stroke, cardiac, perinatal), and develop criteria and tools for the ECCC designation and data collection processes. Managed the budget for the Office of Cardiac Care.

Served as the Lead Paramedic Instructor for Gwinnett Technical College, participating in the development, direction, and coordination of the EMS program, including planning, budget initiatives, and policy issues as they relate to Gwinnett Tech's EMT/AEMT/Paramedic programs. I also jointly prepared accreditation reports and maintained accreditation records for the paramedic program, and supervised all faculty that teach in the paramedic program (part time and full time), ensuring that the proper skills and knowledge are taught to all paramedic students.
