Hello there! I have some 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge from academic research and teaching. As a researcher with a PhD from the Stockholm School of Economics, I have initiated and completed - independently or in collaboration - several research projects around the psychology of decision-making, behavior, and forecasting, perceptions of decision-support and policy tools like nudging. My motivation has been a curiosity for phenomena in business-economics and sports alongside the ambition to empirically investigate to contribute with practical and theoretical insights. Overall, the projects have been based on data from surveys or experiments. I have statistically analyzed the data and published the results in books, book chapters and articles in scientific journals.As a university teacher, I have been responsible for, taught, and developed courses on topics like human and algorithm judgment, financial psychology, decision-making, research methodology, and marketing. Besides examining theses, I have so far supervised 95 BSc / MSc theses (= given qualified advice on literature, method, questionnaire design, data collection, analysis, and writing). In addition, I have supervised and been the main supervisor for doctoral students, all of whom successfully completed their dissertations. Being a supervisor is stimulating for me, as I can assist with my skills to help developing and implementing research ideas.Aside from work, I enjoy delving into and learning more about different subject areas. One area that attracts me, for example, is golf and its history. To promote the history of golf, I take the initiative to organize competitions with vintage golf clubs, about which I create marketing materials along with writing reports. I am interested and motivated by tasks that rely on my knowledge and experience and stimulate my creativity and analytical mind. With my specialist skills, I want to assist businesses and organizations in their challenges. I am happy to share my knowledge and experiences. I also organized scientific conferences, along with giving talks to practitioners on different topics (e.g., the ability to interpret probability assessment, survey designs) . For the Swedish Agency for Higher Education Services, I carried out expert assignments. To improve my teaching skills, I took a pedagogic course in digital learning. In addition, I applied for research grants and successfully received research fundings from Swedish Research Council, Handelsbanken Research Foundation, and Sparbankernas Research Foundations. I conducted research projects single-handedly or in corporation with colleagues. I reported the findings at conferences but also as journal articles and book chapters. Besides organizing scientific conferences, I gave several talks to practitioners on various topics (e.g., the psychology of the financial crisis, statistical evidence in football, credit granting). The Institute for Banking and Finance at University of Innsbruck as well as Dept. Psychology at Florida State University invited me to be guest researcher. Finally, I was ad-hoc reviewer for journals.

Postdoctoral ResearcherUniversity Of Mannheim Sep 2004 - Apr 2006In all, I spent 17 months at this research Institute. Here is summary of what I worked with during this time. I initiated and implemented research projects by myself and with colleagues. Accordingly, I reported the findings of the projects in publications. I also took the initiative to organize a scientific conference on the economics and psychology of football. Together with colleagues, I implemented the organization of this conference, for which we successfully applied for research grants. We reported the conference content as an edited book, published in 2008 by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
