Agile transformation consultant, accredited Level III Scrum Master and Scrum.org Professional Scrum Trainer. I'm an accredited trainer with Debrett's, and coach the soft skills needed to make organizational change effective. I've also been an Agile Coach at Travis Perkins, where I helped the service and operations teams through a Scaled Agile Framework transition, and I've been a Scrum Master at the NHS Information Centre in Leeds where I was responsible for two projects as well as for facilitating agile transformation across the site. Before then I scaled a Lean-Kanban operation into a Scrum at O2 Telefonica. Agile scaling, transitioning, and convergent approaches aligning Agile ways-of-working (such as Scrum and DSDM) with defensive frameworks (such as PRINCE2) are my strongpoint. This won the 2010 Agile Award for Best Use of Agile in the Public Sector. In 2009 I developed and applied an iterative-incremental project methodology to ISO-9001:2000 across an internationally distributed financial software team within a fixed-price context. My 1997 PhD thesis was on CASE supported object-oriented rapid prototyping and I follow developments in Agile theory and practice very closely.
