I have worked in the world of Medicine, since 1972, as GP, Clinic Manager, Chairman of Department of Primary Care, Consultant in Medical Negligence, Clinic Designer, in Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Beijing, China and now again as G.P., in Queensland, Australia.Specialties: Family Medicine, Clinic Design and Commissioning, Negligence Assessment, Team building and leadership.We moved to central Brisbane, in 2015, when my wife was appointed to the teaching staff of St Margaret's in Ascot. I worked in Military Medicine until 2021, when I retired; I now enjoy exploring Australia's Outback in our small off-road caravan.

As a consequence, I decided to cease work in Noosaville. In Brisbane, I work as a permanent part-time Medical Officer with Aspen Medical.I have been a Board Member of the Medical Defence Union (London) an advisor to Avant Mutual Group, the main medical indemnity organisation in this part of Australia, and I am currently an examiner for the Fellowship of the RACGP. For recreation, I spend hours working on my beloved Coromal camper-trailer, which, towed by our trusty Prado T-Diesel, has taken us to some exciting and remote parts of Australia's Outback. We have just returned from a wonderful trip to the Kinberley and the Dampier Peninsula. I hope to see even more of this remarkable country in the coming years.
