Since 2014, I have been a community practitioner, involved in developing a team of Chronic and Long Term caregivers along with my partners, by setting up and running our own Chronic Care Organisation - Care Continuum P. Ltd. In these years, I have gained tremendous insights into the psychosocial, behavioural and economic factors that influence the health of the ageing and the infirm. I have found it to be a privilege to work for this vulnerable age group because there is so much to do. As we grow and diversify, I look forward to winning collaborations and associations to develop the most cohesive, viable and safe model for chronic care within the community in India.I am a doctor with 2 decades of hospital experience including clinical and administrative assignments at various reputed hospitals in Kolkata namely AMRI Hospitals, Woodlands, B M Birla Heart Research Centre and Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute. My last full time administrative assignment was as Hospital Superintendent, B. M. Birla Heart Research Centre. Thereafter, I have served Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre as a Consultant in Hospital Administration. My passion for developing healthcare facilities for the aged and the infirm propelled me to start my own organisation, Care Continuum Pvt. Ltd., along with two of my other professional peers. I have additional training and certifications on Operational Excellence & Accreditation processes (CII EFQM Healthcare model, Lean, NABH, IMS - ISO). I have proven my ability to promote & sustain organisational development in terms of CRM, HR training, medico legal documentation, development of SOPs & error reduction. I am recognized for my ability to work with diverse groups and promote teamwork.
