Engineer Nasser bin Hammad has diplomacy and international communication skills. He is currently a doctoral researcher in the field of diplomacy and international relations from the Geneva University of Diplomacy (GSD). He obtained a diploma in leadership and international diplomacy from GSD in 2015. He was the first Emirati, GCC, and second Arab elected in 2014 from more than (160) countries for a high level position at a prestigious board council consisting of (12) international Radio experts in the oldest organizations of the United Nations, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Engineer Nasser supervised and managed more than (100) international initiatives , ideas and input contributions presented outside the country in international conferences, and contributed to building distinguished partnerships with more than (100) government agencies, space agencies and telecom regulators worldwide, which contributed to a positive results for the UAE and the Arab Region, including the joining of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority as a member In the Council of the International Telecommunication Union in 2006 for the first time with 48 other countries. The election of the country to the position of Vice President of the World Federation for Space, and the country's accession to global space programs and partnerships, such as the Hope Probe and Arab space pioneer program. He also managed the project of establishing the Arab Group for Space Cooperation in 2019, and he worked out the establishment of the first communications and ICT museum of its kind at the headquarters of the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, which was inaugurated bearing the name of the Former President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed in an unprecedented step, with a value of more than (2) million dollars. Engineer Nasser represented his country in more than (250) conferences worldwide, including Gulf, Arab and international meetings and conferences during his tenure in the federal government for more than 21 years. Engineer Nasser received from Dubai the silver medal from the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Holin Zhao for his distinguished contributions and activities at the level of the work of the organization and the strengthening of the role and international reputation of the UAE.He holds an Executive MBA from Zayed University and a BA in Communications Engineering with distinction, first class honors, from Khalifa University (formerly the Etisalat College of Engineering). He is married with four children.
