An alumni of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Don graduated with a Masters of Urban & Regional Planning from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture with a minor in Business Management from the Carlson School of Management. He strives to build connections and seek consensus to find solutions to the design issues that face many American cities.It is his passion and interest in the intersection of urban design, transportation planning, and the real estate development that has driven his desires to seek unique, out-of-the-box solutions curated to the local context to improve the quality of life in American cities and towns. Being able to travel abroad and experiencing different urban and rural environments, from Europe to Asia, has given him a wider worldview of different types and styles of urban design. It is from this life experience that he believes in a holistic way of looking at design and planning with contextual readjustments in addition to listening to community inputs that it will be possible to pursue a more inclusive, human-centric city versus the auto-centric lifestyle that many only know of in the United States.
