PMC is a national level body that has representation from all states. It is responsible for strategising, planning and liaising with donors at national and international level.

NTC was instituted to 1). to train,build capacity of all Pratham employees in subjects like mathematics, language, English; 2). To standardize pedagogy techniques; 3). To plan for evolve into an center for excellence in education.As a team member, planned and executed trainings of 4000+ pratham employees across 22 states.

Joined as a program leader and moved to program manager level while working on different projects. The interesting projects/topics handled were/are- Leading Read India campaign in state of Gujarat, in all govt pri. schools- Working on creating a self sustaining model of learning centres in urban slums.- Worked extensively with communities to involve them in educational processes- Led the evaluation of a project implemented by CARE and BRAC, in five provinces of Afghanistan, facilitated by Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of Afghanistan and the World Bank.- Co authored a paper “Formative Audit of Universalization of Primary Education through Organized Public Action” presented at 19th European Conference on Modern South Asian Studies, Hosted by International Institute of Asian Studies- Presented and shared experiences of “ Working with Unwilling Government” at the Read India Conference facilitated by South Asia Center, University of Pennsylvania

Unnati is an organisation, dedicated towards highlighting issues related to Gender, Poverty, Education and Health.The work involved liaising with newspapers and keeping track of the articles published, managing contributors. Was also involved in conducting research work for the projects assigned by UN organizations (UNIFEM, UNFPA). Actively assisted the organisation in preparing a report on “Coverage of Women Issues in Print Media in Post independence India”. Report submitted to UNIFEM and subsequently published by them.
