Doug is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Brooklyn NY Holdings LLC (BNYH), with offices in New York and Cleveland. BNYH is a family office operation which previously owned the Cleveland Browns Football team until it was sold in 2012.Previously, he was president of Gucci Timepieces from 1996 until its sale in 1998. After the sale of Gucci Timepieces, Doug accepted the position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Cleveland Browns Football franchise.Prior to 1998 Jacobs was a partner with Arthur Andersen & Co., and had additional responsibilities as managing partner of the Orange County, CA office as well as regional responsibilities for managing Andersen's private company practice in the Woodland Hills, San Diego, Las Vegas and Honolulu offices.Prior to joining Arthur Andersen in 1963, Jacobs was an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1963, serving on the USS Frank E. Evans, a FRAM II destroyer.Jacobs presently is a member of the Board of Directors of Standard Pacific Corp, a NYSE residential home builder and chairman of its audit committee and a member of its executive, governance and compensation committees. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Stoneridge, Inc. a NYSE supplier to the automotive industry and chairman of its audit committee and a member of its compensation commitee. Doug also serves on the Board of two private companies owned by BNYH.From a civic standpoint, Jacobs is past president of Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland, past president of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County, CA, past chairman of Pacific Legal Foundation, past vice-chairman of the Performing Arts Center of Orange County, CA and past Treasurer of Bowers Museum Foundation. He also served as a councilman in Kirtland, OH.He received his education at Miami University (Bachelors of science in business) and his MBA at Case Western Reserve University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
